Not this one mate. I like to brew as per instructions first to check it out. If I brew again I certainly would. I'd also add 500g light spray malt :)
 
Since I acquired a few 10 litre yoghurt containers from an Indian take away I've never made 40 bottles the same. I split my brews usually into 3 lots of 7 to 8 litres and treat each differently. So I'm going to do one of mine with no changes, and mess with the other two.
 
I got this going on Thursday. Used Coopers beer enhancer 2 and tweaked with 500grms light DME. Will dry hop with 20gms of cascade hops once the fermentation has calmed down.
 
I love the Coopers APA kit, for a 1-can kit I was consistently impressed with the end result. I used to add 500g of light hopped spraymalt and 500g unrefined cane sugar only and it was often praised by my friends.

I love the idea of splitting a 5 gallon batch down into several smaller batches and treating them differently, I hadn't thought of that but its an excellent idea. You must get a really clear idea of what different additions make to the final beer that way.
