Going to be brewing the coopers Australian lager kit the weekend and just wondered if I should do anything other than instructed? ie... brew short add extra hops etc etc. I fully understand it won't be a proper lager using the ale yeast but should I tweak it in any way?
Thanks

Do a dry hop, that's all I suggest.

I've done two of these Coopers Aus Lager kits. Once with 1kg Coopers beer enhancer 1 and one with 500g light DME and 500g dextrose.

My thoughts were that the first batch was the best. I happened to get that with the coopers DIY kit for xmas, so was my first brew.

If you do want to dry hop, 25-30g of goldings or challenger pellets in a muslin bag, tied at both ends, for about 4 days after fermentation is complete.

Would love to hear back as to what you end up doing :)

GOOD LUCK!!
