Newbie with a question or two if i may.

I have started to brew the following Lager as per photo shown.

I have OG 1.038 but could you give me some kind of pointer for what the FG would be.
I understand the 3 day constant reading but just need a pointer.

Please advise how much priming sugar i need to use.
I will add brew to priming sugar then bottle.
I have made 40 pints from the kit.

I brewed this kit in February, the FG was 1008.

So far I've only ever bottled primed, adding 1 teaspoon of sugar to each bottle, I just make a funnel out of a piece of paper and pour the sugar into each bottle.

I'm much more of a real ale drinker than lager, however this kit turned out really well. I used 500g brewing sugar & 500g spray malt extra light. Not bad at all for around 50p a pint! :thumb:

Hi there.

You could try using carbonation drops - they might be a bit more expensive than sugar but very, very handy.

This is a great lager - did you use ordinary brewing sugar or something a bit more special - its fantastic with extra light spray malt. Once I added a half a tin of treacle and the result was superb.
Enjoy.
