Hello All, new here but been brewing for a while; just back into it after a few year's break...
With summer fast approaching I'm very aware that I'm going to struggle with temperatures - much easier to heat than to cool. I'm chasing a small water chiller (Maxi 110) and I'd like to cool my Kingkegs with it but my thoughts were to add an internal cooling coil with some sort of bulkhead connector through the lid. This means a coil diameter <4" and my browsing (and a little experience) tells me that stainless steel is going to be difficult. I'm considering forming a coil using rigid polythene tubing; heating it in the oven and cooling afterwards to set the shape. Again, using a JG pushfit bulkhead connector (butchered to leave only the external seal). So... anyone tried this? Perhaps something similar for the fermenter?
