Afternoon everyone. Been searching for a relevant thread to add to, but can't find one, so starting a new thread on the subject. Admin, feel free to move if there's a better place.
Inspired by The Malt Miller's video on making a mini kegorator, and a need to give me a better means to dispense chilled beer at family gatherings this festive period, I bought a 35L cool box and added nukatap mini taps. The cool box is big enough to hold 2 x 5L mini kegs, with room for a sodastream bottle. I 'commissioned' it this afternoon and it works a treat! Living the nukatap mini taps!
35L Coolbox from The Range £22
2 x Nukatap mini's + wall mount shank kits £48
2 x Duotight disconnects £14
2 x 1.5m lengths of 8mm O/D valpar superflex beer line £9
Total build cost £93 (already had the sodastream, regulator and gas line)
Fair amount of cash, but I've been putting one keg in a cool bag with ice blocks up until now and wanted something a bit more practical, properly portable, and professional looking.
Just thought I'd share in case anyone else wanted to do the same.
