Converting to gas bulbs

hi,
My king keg barrel has a S30 homebrew valve, I wish to use 10 8g co2 gas bulbs
I'm looking at the S30 to 8g gas adaptor from Love Brewing, would this do, and isit easy to set up?

Does your S30 have a pin? If so, yes.

Not very savy, I have a brewgas cylinder which screws down to release gas, but wish to change to bulbs.

look in the top, the S30 should have a pin which pierces the bulb when you screw the holder down.

Don't see a pin, just a small hole on the S30

You will need a new S30 valve then. There is a conversion kit but it does not work on brass S30 valves, only the newer, stainless-steel valves.

Thanks all I'm now set up for CO2 bulbs, having never used them, can you use a bulb more than once

Read an old thread where someone says the bulb dumps the gas in one go, if this is so, does it disturb the beer, and you have to let it settle before drinking or can you drink straight away?

The entire contents will discharge in one burst. Yes it does disturm the beer a bit but it will settle quickly, especially if you have a top tap.

If you pour a few pints and the pressure drops off until it won't dispense it will often recover the next day. Add CO2 if you are very thirsty but it's not always necessary.
