Control Box Power Connectors ??

Just trying to decide on what type of power connector to use to plug a 3Kw element into my control panel and wondered what was flavour of the month with others.

Hi, I suppose it depends how much room you have on your enclosure. If it were me I'd use these:

They are rated to 16 amps, which is plenty for a 3kw element.

Yeah It's got to be the Real Man's Connector go with commando connectors every time :thumb:

I used IEC connectors in my build

Thanks guy's will give it some thought, the commando plug looks favourite but there is a third one I've seen somwhere that you push and twist but I can't remember where I've seen it.
