Hi Guys.
Bottled my first brew yesterday evening, coopers larger kit.
Really happy with how it is coming along. Really surprised how well it tastes tbh just flat as need conditioning and this is where question is.
What is the ideal conditioning temperature? And how long? I have stored them in a box wrapped up a little. I have max/min thermometer buried in there with them and last night it ranged between 17.3 and 20.6. How is this??
Cheers Guys

That temperature should be fine. I tend to condition in warm for 2 weeks then put them in a cool place for 2 weeks. The longer u leave it the better the beer

I guess you're asking about carbonating rather than conditioning... when you prime your bottles the yeast in suspension will munch on it and produce CO2 in the bottle. As it's in the bottle, it's got nowhere to go and thus your beer gets fizzy. Consequenty, carbonation temp should be the same as fermenting temp (though you could risk a bit higher). The temp you've got will be fine.

I leave mine for 2 weeks before moving to a cooler place to condition.

Any suggestions on the best conditioning temperature once the carbonation is complete? At this time of year my garage is 5C but in summer it will be warmer. So does it matter what temperature for long term storage?

Cellar temperature is best, so between 10 and 13C. I have just started using a fridge with a temp controller, set to 12C, to condition/store my bottles. An under-counter fridge can hold 80+ bottles, if you're lucky!

I've got a brew fridge for fermenting so I could use that for conditioning when it's not otherwise in use. Could be a pain to move bottles in and out though. Will have to keep an eye out on Freecycle for another fridge. I wonder how many fridges SWMBO will let me have in the garage...
