to prime only 9 litres of beer.

Seems to high too me, won't the beer be like a fizzy lager? i thought 8 g per litre for something gassy, this is even more than that.
 
For me that is more than double what we would normally recommend - I would think about 30g would be more than enough to carbonate.

I once used 240g of white sugar to prime 23l of Wheat Beer and it was too fizzy, even for a wheat beer.
