Composting Wine Sediment

Is it OK to compost wine sediment from wine kits? I'm big into composting - some would say obsessive- and am trying to recycle as much as possible.

I often dump the slurry from the bottom of my beer fermenter in our compost bin.
Not sure if it helps or now though.

Is the Ph important for the compost?
If so, anyone any idea what it is on average?

Yeast lees and trub are all very good for the garden and can be watered on as a nutrient.

So yes indeed, composting is fine.
