I've never really actually looked at the cold break forming in the sample jar. I normally just take a sample, carry on with the transfer/cleanup and read it later.
Going into the sample jar was really cloudy today, which was odd because it's normally really clear. 20 minutes later I noticed it was really clear, but with huge lumps of cold break in it.
So I drew another sample and filmed it in time lapse.
This is straight out of the counterflow chiller at 20°C. Video is probably about 15 minutes.
You could see the really big lumps further down the cylinder, but the camera wasn't pointing at them. I may take another video next brew.
