Planning to do a stout as the first brew on my new Hopcat. Its a modified Oatmeal Stout recipe from brewdog.

Im thinking..........

20L Batch Size

2.9kg Pale Malt
400g Torrified Oats
300g Brown Malt
250g Chocolate
250g Light 150 Crystal
200g Black Malt
200g Wheat
500g Lactose
200g Carafa Special 1

Magnum 12g @ 60 Mins
Sorachi Ace - 8g @ 30 Mins

50g Cocau Nibs (Roasted) at Flame Out
250g Coconut at Flame out

Dry Hop after 5 days with 50g Cocau and 200g Coconut.

Any thoughts? Too much Coconut?

Thanks,

It sounds very nice. But...do you know your system loses etc. as your numbers may well be all over the place to start?
Cheers clint, didnt actually think of that. I'm actually collecting the hopcat tomorrow second hand so I might ask them for info.

I've not got an all in one system but I suppose the principle is the same...mash, sparge, boil off and kettle loss.
I'd sanitise your dry hop too..

Yeah, ive change my equipment to Hopcat in Brewfather and its adjusted things slighty.

Im planning on roasting the Cocau and cocount first anyway.
