CO2 Injection Valve replacement

So, I picked up a couple of 'Boots' barrels at a boot fair but the have the original plastic CO2 injection system in the 4 inch caps. Been told I should replace with Brass units. Has any one done this successfully and what did you use please? Thanks!!!!

Not done it, but they are easy to get from HB shops. You may only need to change the rubber valve part rather than the whole unit.

Thanks!! Not clear why it was implied the older injector unit may be suspect.... Dunno, might plough on regardless....

The part that usually goes is the rubber band valve. Change that and your sorted. You can get spares from HB shops.
