Hi,
I pickup up some additional brewing kit a while back, one thing was a plastic barrel with a tap at bottom and screw top. The guy said it could be used for injecting co2, there was a used 8g cannister with the kit so i assumed (possibly in error) that I could use them with the barrel and bought some new ones. Pictures attached
How do I inject the co2?
The cap has a small nozzle inside the centre of the threaded brass valve at the top. The fact the brass top has an outside thread now makes me think I need an extra piece of equipment to get the co2 cannisters to fit, or possibly a different size. Or do I just push them down onto the centre nozzle?
Thanks in advance
Ps when I was rinsing out the inside with the cap fitted and shaking cleaning fluid around inside, the brass (valve) was hissing so I'm fairly confident it does work appropriately.
