Cloudy Starsan solution

I've just mixed up some Starsan solution with RO water. It's gone cloudy!

The Ashbocking water I bought from Tesco went slightly cloudy as well.

Are either of them safe to use?

They should be fine. It goes cloudy with Ashbeck water for me too. I think the distilled water (from the Tesco motoring section) is still clear though so not sure why your RO went cloudy.

The key to Starsan is the pH of the mixed solution. If this is under 3 then it is working within parameter. I'm not saying that ALL cloudy Starsan is OK, a pH test is still necessary to be reassured, only that it is not necessarily a problem. This picture makes my point.
