Hi folks - I've got a question for you, I made a Coopers Lager kit a few weeks ago and while it was fermenting it looked a very pale colour, it stopped fermenting in 5 days and I bottled it at 1.008 it was very cloudy but I thought it will clear down in a week or so but it is still as cloudy as when I bottled it last Saturday, could the label have been wrong and I have a wheat beer? I've not tasted it yet and wouldn't know what a wheat beer tasted like anyway.

thanks in advance

You would know without doubt if it is a wheat beer when you try it, as it will taste nothing like a lager should do. Some wheat beers don't have a strong taste, but are definitely different. Hard to describe the flavour, but i always think they have a vague hint of banana, and are quite smooth.
