Probably been done to death, but my Muntons Midas Touch is cloudy.
Fermented ok, and bottled cloudy; two weeks later still as cloudy.
Is it a case of waiting, or am I stuck with cloudy ale?

Is that the cider kit by muntons ??

How long did you ferment for? I find some kits need up to six weeks plus to clear in the bottle, were are you storing your beers?

Ment to be a golden ale.
I bought it and then found references all over T'Internet slagging it into the ground :? I had a sneaky taste as I was bottling it and it was ok - very hoppy and bitter. Still cloudy tho'.

After bottling keep them somewhere warm for up to aweek - if you have done this then stick them in your garage or shed or somewhere cool this will help them to clear, i`ve had a woodfordes wherry take two months to clear!! Even if it doesn`t clear i wouldn`t worry to much - if it tastes OK then its a result, i`ve drunk plenty of dodgy homebrew

Fermented for 9 days and as the SG was steady for three days I decided to bottle. Bottles were primed and left in the house for another three days then moved to the Howf (outbuilding maintaining a temp of about 4degrees) for maturation.
Still cloudy.

:thumb: Thanks for the advice. It tasted ok when i bottled it - I'll just need to be patient.

That`s the hardest thing with homebrewing!! They may still be cloudy after 6weeks then clear - you`ve done every thing you can so hope they turn out good - the last bottle of any brew is always the best!!! The only answer is to brew loads and get your stocks up

:) I like the sound of brewing lots!
Can't wait until this batch is ready though :drink:
