How long does kwik clear take to clear wine . It's been 48 hours now it's clear but not amazing . I put 1 ml of each part in is that enough?

I used that on two of the wines I made some weeks ago Red/White and the wine cleared within 24 hours I also have used it on other wines I have made since and wasn't successful..
The two wines that did clear were in kit form those others that haven't cleared I made from scratch. I did read to help the wine clear you have to add Pectinase at the fermentation stage..

I tend to use 1ml if the wine looks fairly clear already and 2ml if its cloudy and they usually clear in 24 to 48 hours, how did you degas?

I did the same when i first started making kit wine and like you i found clearing took longer than i expected having read other threads about the same kits, i decided to make a degassing wand, since then i have never had one take longer than 48 hours to clear.

I dont know how strong modern glass DJ's are but i would hate you to be the one that finds out not very.

Is it ok to put another ml of each clearing in?

There should be no problem, hold it up to the light to get a good view of how clear it is, red grape along with other "red" based juices can be deceiving as to how clear they actually are, if you have the space put your DJ's in the fridge as well, temp drop can help clear them to.

Thanks. Done two same time rg and apple . And rg and tropical the tropical is lovely and clear but the other is not as good.
