How hard is it. With the recent hot weather I stopped using the hand pump as it was easier to keep the beer cooler if I used the polypin only. When I stopped using it I flushed with beer line cleaner then cold water. Before connecting a new pin I gave it a pull and some skanky foul smelling beer came through . Have now put beer line cleaner and water through 3 more times. Connect the pin straight away yesterday and last nights beer was fine. First one out tonight, has been sitting in the chamber over night, smelt rank. So now contemplating stripping and cleaning but how hard is it. Normally with this sort of project I end up with bits left over. I know Chris has a guide to a homark pump but an advice on an Angram would be welcome.

I would take I apart, just take pictures as you go.

I took my homark on part (bit different to Chris') and managed to get it back together ok.

I totally rebuilt my Angram, stripped the whole thing down to pieces, new seals, springs. I found it quite easy but be carefull when you strip the chamber as its easy to rebuild it wrongly as the glass barrel and internal plunger and seal need to be kept in the same orientation as they came apart so mark them top and bottom. Mine stank like rotting carpets when I stripped it, after cleaning and steralising it all I left it to air dry over 2 days and the smell disappeared.

I saw it when you received it Buster. You made a fine job of it....

Cheers Buster, will attempt it at the weekend. Mine looks the same model as yours. One question the polystyrene, which I take it to be insulation, that says do not remove, do you need to remove it.
