Hi,

I've got a cornie attached to a tap, but need a way of cleaning the lines.

Does anybody know of any hardware I can buy to pump the cleaning solution through the lines and the tap?

My current solution is to fill the cornie with cleaner, pressurise and serve, then again with water, which is a bit of a pain.

Also recommendations on what cleaning solution to use would be appreciated.

My method is very similar to your current solution. I don't find it too much of a pain as I would have to clean the corny out anyway.

I rinse out the corny and then add about 3 - 4 litres of dilute cleaner solution and swill around a few times before connecting to the line. I use a proprietary beer line cleaner I got off eBay

Thanks for the link.

My problem with that system is I can only clean the lines when I have an empty cornie, and I try my best to prevent that from happening.

If I don't drink beer for a couple of weeks for whatever reason, I'd like to be able to give the lines a quick clean before use, which isn't really possible if my cornies are full.

My last attempt at cleaning the lines without a cornie involved jamming a steam cleaner on the line. It didn't really fit, squirted steam everywhere and gave my a small burn, so I'd like to avoid having to do that too many times.

It worked though, I suppose I could try to find some sort of adapter from the steam cleaner, but I don't know if that will damage the insides of the tap.
