My mates dad kindly gave me a spare copy of this he had :) but crikey, it's like stepping back in time lol. The RRP was 35p, there's no barcode on it and the adverts in the back are great, like the 'Preset-matic' combined heater and thermostat for £1.40 (plus 5p postage!). And if you want further information about a supplier's equipment you send them an S.A.E. no messing about with websites and email addresses in those days :nono:

The amazing thing is even a copy this old had already sold one million copies according to the blurb on the cover!

I love the fact that it's got a ribena wine recipe as well :thumb: looking forward to flicking through it this weekend :)

I've got two copies, one from 1984 where it boasts of over 2,000,000 copies sold, & one from 1960 that is more like a booklet :thumb:
