Hi,
Having some quite a few beer/lager kits I thought I’d try cider for a change. The first kit, On the Rocks, was a great success - I still have 25 or so bottles and it’s a decent flavour, and I think a decent abv too.
I thought I’d keep a bit of a production line going, so went this time for an Oaked Cider from Ciderworks. Anyone had any experience recently with this?
Followed all instructions as the kit comes with everything - the only difference is I added 4 litres of pressed apple juice in place of some water - hopefully boosting the flavour and the extra 400g of sugar should hopefully boost abv.
Looks darker than the last On the Rocks kit, haven’t got a hydrometer so the final abc will not be known (usually have a good guess after the first bottle lol!)
