When making a cider from a kit can I still use beer kit enhancer? Or should I just stick to brewing sugar?

Wouldn't that add some malt flavour? Might be okay and good I do not know..

personally to enhance a cider kit I would replace a couple of liters of the water and sugar with apple juice (or A N other juice)

what about a lager kit? would you add anything?

i added muntons beerkit enhancer when i brewed my coopers australian lager and it turned out lovely.

Yeah by all means. I do not do too many kits now but in general I would try and substitute any sugar where I can in any kit.. In a cider I may not replace all the sugar but I would consider repalcing some with juice. The reason I said for cider the beer enhancer would contain dry malt extract which for a beer would be suited, as to whether you'd want that in a cider I don't know.. Personally I would go for juice and keep the maltiness for beer styles.

I often use the brewbuddy kit as a base for playing around with cider flavouring. Actually brewed short and left for a few months its not bad on its own but the opportunity to play and enhance the kit is hard to resist.

I found using normal sugar and adding a few chopped up bramleys works well.

My last brew recently bottled included 2 litres tropical juice and 2 litres orange juice for a little added zing. It smelled great going into the bottles hopefully it will taste as good.
