Hey guys,

I've done cider from kits and juice and I now have a crate of apples sitting here. Never done apple cider from scratch before.

I'm in a flat so no press but I do have a juicer. My question is what part of the apples should I not be putting in the juicers (cores, seeds etc) and is there anything I can do with the left over mash?

Cheers.

Everything goes in.... help your juicer by chopping into smaller pieces.

left over trub... Pies and Pies

One of the very few things I have brewed is cider from fruit, like you I used a juicer. Everything went in, except for any really bad bits.
Dependoing on your juicer, you just need to watch that the motor doesn't overheat - you'll be running it for longer than "normal use".

Yes, just throw the whole lot in. I made a press from two cutting boards and a pair of clamps, because I noticed the juicer isn't actually that effective at getting juice out compared to squeezing it. I disagree about taking the bad bits out - my best ciders have been the ones from the brown manky apples :thumb:
