Cider advice

cider kits are not coming out well from this discussion which is a shame as I've drunk all the real cider I made this year. Anyone tried concentrated apple juice or dried apple powder

One of the nicest Ciders i ever had was made with Tesco "Apple & Mango" juice, wasnt nice initially but six months later, wow was it absolutely delish. I'm starting a few demi johns of the stuff this weekend for this summer's enjoyment. I've also made a good few apple ciders using Lidl from concentrate and the Lowicz syrups that pop up in there from time to time (sour cherry, raspberry and strawberry), all nice in their own way.

I made a wine with this stuff a couple of times that was presumably roughly the same flavour. Very nice.
