I think that young Joe has a great voice but I'm not entirely sure what niche he will be placed in. I wasn't too sure about Olly either, the voice isn't as strong but he's a good entertainer, although very Will Young, and we've already got one of those.

I hadn't heard “The Climb” before but I knew it had to be a cover version as the winners' songs have never been originals. I thought the lyric was ‘a bit Disney’ in a twee, moralistic, pass-me-a-bucket kind of way, then hey-ho, I found out it was a Miley Cyrus track from Disney's Hannah Montana. Nuff said.

Ironic that RATM is on the same label.
Anyone know how much of a chunk of Sony BMG Cowell owns?
I doubt if this protest will dent his wallet very much.

Same song,bad memory .It's a long time since I heard it.
But people are doing what they are being told and downloading RATM.
And also giving more exposure to **** tv progs(got to be honest never seen it,but every time I pick up a newspaper and turn on the radio it is rammed down my throat)
I really should keep out of this because I have no interest either way.

Also to let others get on with it and go out and buy both,I've got no probs with that. :thumb:

Yep, they're going to give all increased royalties, over normal, to Shelter, I have been led to believe

I would agree, if x-factor met the generous donations announced by RATM, and it didn't all just go into the pocket of someone who only cares about making more money for themselves :evil:

I love the idea of RATM getting to #1 and watching all the commercial radio staions trying to edit it/not touch it with a barge pole......
