Just been given 14 demijohns and a boots wine filter (like the vinbrite) plus a box of odds and sods. So i think we will be having quite a few cheeky wows on the way.

Very nice, I've been trawling all the Freecycle and Freegle sites for my local area.

Wish I'd joined a while back now, some nice gear I've missed out on.

Freecycle I my area never has any a mate said he had these which he has sat in his workshop for ten years as an old lady asked if he could sell them and never did, so I am now the lucky recipient.

I'm a great devotee of the Car boot sale (I live close to one) and I quite often see selections of brewing gear at our local one. Recently bought an old Boots hydrometer in a tube with a rubber bulb to suck up the brew, very good and easy to use.

I'm a fan of the car boot sales too.

Usually a few DJs for £1 a pop or less, wine racks for about the same etc, not seen any beer stuff yet.

Its a nice morning running round the 3 local sales on Sundays then home for a fry up.

I had to put a 'Wanted' ad on Freecycle to get some.

I'm wondering how many different manufacturers there were. I fancy trying to get a full set.
