ive made a chocolate stout and had it in the conditioning barrel for a month or more and was thinking of moving in to a cornie keg and leaving for a bit longer before drinking dose this sound like a plan as i don't do stout much and don't leave the lighter beers this long :wha:
 
Darker and stronger beers can last longer than paler weaker beers. When transferring making sure you don't splash or introduce oxygen to the beer. Best plan is to purge the cornie with Co2 before moving.

You will be suprised how good those forgotten bottles of beer can taste. I have had some bitter which had been in the bottle for 12 months and they were sublime. I always age my beer in the bottle for at least 2 months before drinking, I am trying to increase that to 6 months :thumb:
