I don’t think they can post Antiformin S so it would have to come by courier. I’ll find out and let you know. I get mine from a local brewery, I just take a demijohn round and they pump whatever I ask for into it. Lots of breweries use it, so it would be worth checking with your local ones.

There ya go - that's the version I tidied up and put some notes in.

Sadly it's making the bleach no-rinse that made me able to taste chlorine in tap water, I never used to notice it. When I was bottling I'd spray the no-rinse in my mouth before sucking the syphon and it sadly trained up my tastebuds. I so wish that hadn't happened.

The no-rinse bleach sanitiser will kill anthrax and mold. I used it in the bathroom and it worked an absolute treat on the mold and had the mild bleaching so made it look nicer. When I repainted I sprayed all the walls and ceiling when they were stripped.

So in case people haven't seen it before I had a run of beers, about 4 or 5 batches in a row, that all had phenol problems that tasted great at bottling and this was caused by a new bottle of thin bleach, same brand as before but it wasn't thin bleach. When you shook the bottle it foamed and stayed foamy so it had surfactant in it. And it was slightly yellowy rather than clear. I bought a different bottle from another supermarket and it was exactly the same. So the no-rinse wasn't no rinse.

Aaaaand the other reason I never want to use it again is because I ruined two of my favourite tops and a pair of trousers by getting bleach on them. Star San doesn't do that, removes a rinsing stage and just makes you feel better about the whole thing.

Aaaand when you spray it in your mouth before sucking a syphon it just tastes lemony. Hmmmmm, citrusssy.

@Drunkula instead of spraying sanitiser in my mouth I use one of these taps on the end of my syphon with a small piece of tubing attached to the outlet, I suck on the small piece of tubing to get the flow going and then just pull it off leaving the still sanitised tap on the end of the syphon

@gavp1979 that's exactly what I had - but you're not then filling bottles from the top from the tap are you? If you put a length of 3/8" on the outlet you can fill from the bottom. Less oxidation.

@Drunkula sorry, I didn't realise you were filling bottles. I keg so I start the flow and then drop the Syphon into the bottom of the keg.

Just heard from Plymouth Hop Shop that they can post a litre bottle of Antiformin S for £4.50 second class, so the total would be £10.75. They have just 2 bottles in stock, so if you want some get your skates on. Other suppliers may keep it of course.

I have used but VWP for years but I'm not happy with the fumes and effect on my skin so I'm going to change. I've ordered some Chemsan from B2B and I'm going to buy some Milton. However I'm with Coffin Dodger I will still rince. My wife confirmed she always rinced our babies bottles after a soak in Milton.

I ordered mine off b2b by far the cheapest place to get it

I use Milton and don't find it has any problems, but I do rinse.

That's what i do then i attach the little bottler wand to the long end of the tap.

I accidentally left about a pint of starsan in the bottom of the keg and filled it up with stout. Only clicked once the keg was filled and pressurised.

Still drank it though
