Tesco customer service phoned this morning to say that it's an error by mySupermarket and that the offer is only 10kg for £7.50, rather than the 15kg mentioned on the mySupermarket website.

If it seems too good to be true...

so can this normal sugar be used to brew beer,
i dont have to use the brewing sugar
iam total new to this,
have not even got a kit yet,
iam looking to find out about it before buying anything,

An old chestnut, but worth repeating the point. 'Brewing' sugar is 'cleaner', without the residual taste of sugar beet or cane. Good cider and wine is made from the natural sugar within the apple or grape. The addition of sucrose is an adulteration which will remediate the alcoholic content but degrade the product and should only be used in very limited quantities to salvage a poor crop.

Poundland sell 1.5Kg Whitworths sugar (Can't think what price they sell it at though :wha:  )
