Right so I bought the wilkos cerveza kit on recommendation. I brewed it to the letter of instructions but after bottling and leaving for about a week. It's completely flat.

What have I done wrong? Is there anything obvious that's happened? Any help would be appreciated.

First question would be did you add carbonation drops or sugar when you bottled it?

Next question is where have you left it? And what is the approx temperature?

If its only been a week you will likely need to leave it another week somewhere warm and then for another 3/4 weeks somewhere cool to condition :thumb:

I've made a Wilkos Mexican Cerveza and primed each 500ml bottle with 3/4 of a Teaspoon of sugar and it is still carbonating after 2 weeks. From start to finish i would think the cerveza will take 6 weeks for a decent brew.

hi im in the process of making the same kit as being a bit of a newbe could you put the beer in a king keg and force carbonate?

You won't be able to force carbonate in a king keg, I believe you would need a cornie for that.

I opened a bottle of cerveza yesterday and my brew is flat also, probably still needs extra time, but I also opened a bottle of Wilko's pilsner which I brewed and primed at the same time as the cerveza....carbonation was excellent, lots of head and lasts throughout the full pint.
