Thanks all for your input. The low and slow method has worked a treat, best carbed beer Ive ever made. Reminds me of Don't Tell Gus from Verdnt with the finer carb mouthfeel

Haha, everyone has done it. The last time it happened with me I was burst carbing my keg which I'd overfilled with beer (didn't notice because of the starsan foam).

When I reduced the pressure, I forgot to vent... The beer went right up the gas line and shot out the tiny relief port in my regulator. Of course the regulator was pointing directly at me, at head height. Ffs...

MM have a couple of non returns that look good. Not sure what I'd prefer, the inline JG ones or the QD ones. There really isn't much room between my QD's and the top of the fridge, so the JG valves may work out better...

How did you clean your regulator after. Have a couple of secondary regs that need the beer cleaning out haha

Most manifolds have built in non return valves.

Just a scoosh of starsan into the bleed port and then ramped the pressure right up to blow all the remaining beer out. Did the job and is working fine.

Hi Braindead - what pressure/duration did you end up going for?

I think with the outside temp I put it about 18 psi for a week or so, just kept checking the carb levels. I was in no rush as it was a stout so may have been even longer.
Wish I had a lil tool that told me the exact psi of the beer inside.

Yes. It maybe painful and slower than we would like but getting the proper carb does take time and following the carbonation chart with temp and good long lines will make sure you get a nicely carbonated beer that pours with a great head.

Curious question
I need to carb 2 kegs, only usually do 1 at a time.
I carb at 15psi.
But because Im doing 2 at once will I need to increase the psi or keep it at 15??
