Hi all,

Bit of an odd request, but I recently became a father (thanks in advance for all the congratulations!) and at the request of the wife I'm in need of a set of window shades for the car to protect the wee one.

I've no idea if the old school suction cup style ones are any good, or if the over-door style ones are better. Does anyone have any experience with these things who could offer any advice?

Many thanks!

Rob

p.s. Don't worry, I've already wet her head with a bottle of a NEIPA that's become one of my usual beers!

We bought the suction cup type they are fine if you are not using the windows.
There may be much better ones available now as this was 20 years ago.

I bought a set from amazon to fit the Qashqai I had at the time. They were suction cup types and were a great buy - they also fitted the new model of Qashqai that I bought. I only paid a fiver at the time but I see its now doubled in price.

I've posted the link to it below for your consideration, although the size and shape might not be suitable for your car, but it gives you an idea anyway.

We have these ones. Go over the window and suction, so very secure. Also have heat alert.
