Can You Recommend A Printer Please

I got a Kodak fairly recently as they claim they're cheaper on ink, but like all inkjets if you don't use them every few days the heads dry and you waste 4 sheets cleanign them next time around. Sounds like your kids will make that a non-problem though. Suggest you price up paper+ink and start docking their pocket money...
Next time I'm getting a laser.

Not sure about that. I might be lucky but there have been times when I've not used my hp950 for over 2 months. Never had a problem with the print heads............ ever..............
I do know a few people who have had issues with Epsons ( myself inclued ). Anything over a couple of days and the heads need cleaning. I gave up on mine after I'd not printed for a month. Not even some head cleaning fluid would shift it :x

i have all ways use epsoms never had a problem with them all so use auto reset carts re fill off ya go :thumb:

I've used an HP colour laser for years. The cost of replacing the toners makes your eyes water but I have had success in refilling the toner myself (bought from these http://www.refilltoner.com/). Despite what anyone says, I always find it necessary to empty the waste toner section every time.
