Lol I was about to post a joke then thought I better ask, but I suppose it can always be removed if there's objection !!

There is levels of acceptability, The F word and C word :nono: :nono: :nono: some of the lesser words may be tolerated but to avoid giving any offence the use of a few *** would be appreciated.

When I posted earlier it automatically **** the middle letters of the word I was typing. It wasn't strong, nor used in a derogatory way. I don't mind, just thought I'd mention it. The word was bastard by the way

there see, did it again, so you can swear and it will *** it out for you :) Or shall we get some sort of charity swear-box..?

There are a few words which the forum software will intercept and asterisk, we discussed it some time ago in the back room but I'm buggered if I can remember where the bloody list has been put.

You can get away with some minor expletives, but kindly avoid use of the ‘F’ word, the ‘C’ words and the ‘S’ word.

That's Fo$t*r$, C4rl1n9, C4r1$b€r9 and St€ll4.

have you noticed that the swear word S**T is more acceptable when you posh it up and make *****.

***** is not a swear word, it's a swear alternative, like feck :D Father Ted used it all the time (not that RTÉ were ever bothered by proper swearing on TV). Actually I'm normally good about not cursing, (as long as you don't count creative "blasphemy") the children might come out with it in school  :nono: but once I've had half a glass of cider in me...

I love it when I see on here people asterixing out the middle letters of supermarkets... "feckin T***o have put their grape juice up in price again"

Just wondering if Scunthorpe is seen as a swear word, it does get the old **** treatment else where on the net, admittedly having visited the place once on football days, it deserves to be

Looks all clear here then

I notice that out of the F, S and C words, S is allowed and so are plurals of the other two. The preview button lets you test this. Talking of which, why don't people preview their posts before submitting?
