If i give it a CO2 blast can i age my wine in my pressure barrel, I dont use it for my beers etc as i force carbonate in corneys, if not any one want to buy a pressure barrel as it no good to me!!

I would store it for a couple of months then bottle or drink it stright from the barrel

thanks in advance for your help

iirc, glass/plastic are distinguished in ageing by their permeability - glass is better, but I don't remember which is more permeable.

i dont see why it wouldnt be fine, but like you say, blast it then release the pressure valve to get rid of the oxygen.

thanks guys, i am getting better at this with all your help. big ribena wine day the last lot was fab
