Can i brew a full batch with 19l stock pot

I have purchased a 19l stock pot with lid to do biab, i was looking at all grain kits on brewuk for 23l batches. Would i be able to do these with a 19l pot and then top up to 23l in my fv?

Hop utilization would be down so you would need to recalculate the bitterness. I'm sure they would chuck you a few extra grams of hops in if you figure out what you want.


You'll want to check out Maxi-BIAB, that's how people brew full size or high abv batches with the BIAB method :)

yeh thats the long term plan, i bought the pot planning on using it for partial mash recipes but thought if i can do a full recipe then i might as well
