Hi,

I'm new to all this and so far have just used the St Peter's Ruby Red beer kit. I'm looking for a good quality kit for a Weiss Bier (Fransikaner and Scneider Weiss are by branded favourite wheat beers).

Don't think I'm ready to go down the recipe route yet as I'm a newbie!

ANy advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.

ive only used the coopers one...ok results but i used regular spray malt instead of wheat spray malt so my beer while quite nice was not very wheaty...id say if yo did coopers with 1kg wheat spray malt you'd get a good wheat beer

I've just finished a Muntons Wheat Beer - its only been out of the fermenter 2 weeks - but I had a taste last night
It's going to be very very nice.

Its completely clear though..was expecting it to stay cloudy :wha:

Thanks for the replies so far, I think I'll give the Muntons kit a try first and if maybe move on to Oconn suggestion (good to hear from a fellow Cork man!).
