I have reloaded AutoCad 2007 on to my new laptop, but can't for the life of me remember how to make it fire up with a black 2D model space or how to bring tool bars out.
Any advice would be much appreciated, but please be gentle, my learning capabilities have taken a nosedive.

Tell you what E, I did City and Guild Autocad quite a few years ago, when I got on the latest version recently I could not fire it up. Much to complicated, alright for the pro's doing it everyday.
Have a look at qcad. I don't pay money for software am a linux fan and it is available free, but I actually bought the full version cos its brilliant. :D There are trial downloads and a windies version. ;)
That' tight git, according to my daughter, talking
