Looks fascinating. Do tell.3 for supper and one for lunch tomorrow.
It depends what you want. having bought the "set" and supplemented it with other nice, sharp looking things, I find I only use three: a long filleting knife which I use for most things including peeling veg, a knife of the same length but much heavier for chopping through chicken and lamb bones, a breadknife. The rest lay where they have lain for years: unused and unloved.Does anyone have any recommendations for a kitchen knife set that doesn't cost hundreds of pounds?
I don't why I didn't start a new thread....I was thinking "foodies forum, people there will know".It depends what you want. having bought the "set" and supplemented it with other nice, sharp looking things, I find I only use three: a long filleting knife which I use for most things including peeling veg, a knife of the same length but much heavier for chopping through chicken and lamb bones, a breadknife.
