Me too, so I googled it and quickly discovered how wrong I was....!

What's mushrooms got to do with sex?
Sometimes moving posts doesn't always work .
Not long ago there was talk on the radio of sis-sexual. You are born a sex and you are attracted to that sex. Surely that hetro. Googling sis-sexual brings up some other disturbing interests

I thought being bisexual meant you were willing (or needed) to pay for sex..
:coat:

Man I tell you what that whole business confuses me. I still don’t really understand all these new words and *****.

Frankly, I don’t mind it as long as someone’s ok with talking to me about it for 5 minutes and explaining what they mean without coming across as bored or condescending.

If you can do that then fine call yourself what you like.

And the vegan thing. Well, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me, but my girlfriends a pescatarian and we sometimes have vegan food (or maybe it’s vegetarian, like nearly vegan lol) and I quite like it. Except vegan cheese. Christ that is BAD.

Anyway I’m cool with it but I’m gonna need an explanation. And you should anticipate questions. And some of them you won’t like.

I too am confused - despite the multitude of definitions; mainly because someone keeps adding to the various degrees of sexuality.

I had just got used to LGBT (Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender) and then somebody wanted to add a "Q" for "Queer" - and years of re-educating myself to NOT use the word went down the tube! aheadbutt aheadbutt

Excerpt from above link:
Bisexual- When you are attracted to two or more genders. This term is generally used to describe being attracted to men and women, but can apply to being attracted to any two or more genders. Note that you do not have to be equally attracted to each gender.
Pansexual- When you are attracted to all genders and/or do not concern gender when you are attracted towards someone

I wasn't aware I'd lived a particularly sheltered life, quite the contrary, but two or more genders? What or who are in the "or more" category?
Surely the "bi" part of bisexual means "two". If there are more than two genders and you are attracted to them then you need another word

But then you might be called or identify as trisexual….which means you are willing to try anything....no?

..my understanding is that many government forms now have a 3rd option.

(nope...no clearer to me either)

Seen written on a toilet door in Grimsby many years ago:

"My mother made me a queer."

and underneath

"If I buy her the wool, will she knit me one?"

Other buzz words that drive me up the wall:

`Rule of law'

`Hold to account'

I was brought up thinking if you couldn't think of what to say you slipped a quick err or umm into a sentence - now you have to put in some sh*te like the above...

I hate the way the younger generation now fit the word "like" into every sentence it drives me mad.

A person a friend of mine went to school goes beyond all of this and identifies as a cloud. Apparently if you feel an in animate object is similar to you you can identify as it. I can't remember what this special name for it is but it made me laugh

Ooooohh can they make lightning?

Or rain?!

Or snow would be cool actually.
