I have done extensive searching for gas rings / furnaces and the like around the net mainly UK sites and was discusted at the price some of the home brew shops were selling the burners for.

I then came accross this site just for example the square burner in the furnaces and gas rings section I have seen upwards of £120 in some HB shops and down to £50 in others thats for the square one the mark up is extortionate. I got a burner 5 meters of hose and an adjustable regulator for £47 delivered gas hose is expensive  ......

Sorry only my second post and it looks like an darn ad  but gas burners are easy enough to find its finding a decent price for them thats hard especially when you look at them in HB shops and they are going to cost you an arm and a leg.

I got a 13kw(so it reckons) 3 ring burner thingy for NZ$45(20 quid-ish) after hunting around a bit. The HBS here don't sell things like that.
