I,ve just bought a Burco 30l boiler and would like to change the tap for a stainless steel one. I took the original tap off and found a hole you could drive a car through. The taps I am seeing online are half inch but the hole in the boiler looks too big for a half inch flanged washer. Has anyone solved this problem.
Cheers

TBH I tried swapping the tap out for something more sensible & just went back to the original tap. You could drill out another hole, but I didn't think it worth the bother.

Thanks for your reply, I think I've made the wrong purchase. I was hoping to be able to connect it to a mash tun via a hose for sparging with a spray.

I thought the same when I took the original tap off mine, but I was able to fit my 15mm tank connector in the middle of the hole and when tightened it didn't leak and has been good for nearly 2 years
