Building a boiler - a candidate?

I've been looking for a suitable vessel to make a boiler out of. The intention is to use tesco value kettle elements.

My question is though, will this be a suitable vessel to use?

There's a few brewers about who use them, Franklin used to brew with a similar one

Hi I made a boiler Kettle and mash tuns out of these. The ones I had were about 4mm thick so they are quite adequate. They also make very good fermentors and I also have a couple for washing/sterilizing bottles etc. Not a bad price for 60l one good find.
