Hello Brewdudes and dudesses,
I have a 40l buffalo boiler that will hopefully go into action soon. I just wanted to check if it needed any modifications so it maintains a rolling boil. Also, did i read recently that there was an optimum boil temperature? I should have writen it down.
Many thanks

Yup.. :thumb: it's good to go...it has a temperature control...all you need to maintain is a rolling boil...IMO I would change the plastic tap for a standard 15mm one like This

The other thing you may consider is insulating it  I used a camping mat and duct tape :geek: there's quite a large surface area exposed round the buffalo so a bit of insulation won't be a bad thing :thumb:

Must admit I've been impressed with the Buffalo, not had it long but much improved on my previous boiler :thumb:

Thank you. I'm on the case with the tap, just need to enlarge the hole to accept the tank connector.
The camping shop will think i'm nuts if i buy any more roll mats
