Bubbling like a freaking mad bean!

Mixed berry cider went into FV1 a couple of days ago, and based on the experience of a mate who brewed it not too long ago, Ive sat it at 22 degrees holding reasonably steady and the damned thing is gurgling and bubbling away like a freak of nature! Never seen activity like it!

Is this normal? I'm getting major gurgles every 15-20 seconds and serious multi gurgles every 45-50 seconds.

Its one of the bulldog kits with a 10g yeast packet...
 
Woke up this morning to a wonderfully yeasty smell in the kitchen... Gurgling is now in overdrive, once every 15 seconds I get a godalmighty gurgle... Might need to check the krausen level dont want it invading the kitchen...
 
Small update:

Checked the Gravity this morning, as I hadnt heard a gurgle for 12 hours or so (Have been watching the rugby though, so might have missed the odd one...) on a properly checked Hydrometer (Have checked it using the ideas from a thread on the forum) it started at 1.043 and is now at 0.995. I guess thats fermentation done then... according to Brewzilla, that means its about 6.3%. Nice. Its a bit yeasty and cloudy...

Should I give it another few days to clear down a little before bottling? I've no issues with cloudy cider but the wife does...

Guess I need to get that Czech Pilsner from Better Brew going today while the wife goes out... :P

I don't do kits, but personally I'd leave it for a few days before bottling. The three turbo ciders I've done have been down to below 1.000 in less than a week, and I usually leave them for 2 weeks before bottling.
I'm sure there's a thread on here somewhere where someone say they rack into a second FV once fermentation is finished. Although not sure if that's necessary with a kit.
 
If you are in a hurry to clarify something, I've found that putting it in the 'fridge tends to do a great job in a couple of days. Since it's already below 1.000, it's unlikely to have any residual sugar that could blow up a bottle once it warms up again. (Just the same, I always bottle cider in beer bottles, so, if my hydrometer was off, the bottle will probably handle the pressure.)
