Bubble size changing over time

I was drinking my latest wheat and noticed the bubbles in the head were a bit big. A week later the same batch now has much finer bubbles.

Now this could be due to glass cleanliness and all sorts, or simply just to time.

Anyone else notice a change the consistency of bubbles in the beer's head over time?
