Just started this kit today, but as I'm using a FV, instead of a brubag, I am finding the instructions a bit difficult to follow.
No problem with getting the Ingredients in the FV, but it gets a bit vague afterwards. The instructions say when the beer is clear, keg or bottle, do I keep the beer in the FV once fermentation is complete for a further period of time to allow it to clear, prior to bottling?
Fermentation period is given approximately 10 days then if you are using a brubag a further 7 days is required to clear according to the instructions? Anyone brewed this kit before and can point me in the right direction?

What you need to do with any beer/wort is let it fully ferment out ( most likely 10 days enough ) and test by using a hydrometer , test 3 days in a row to make sure it has finished . Then lower temp of beer , if poss around 10c or lower to help the yeast and sediment drop out and the beer will be clearer ( this may take 3 to 7 days ) , then prime wort and bottle .

Cheers Pittsy
I will do that. Just found the instructions confusing. Hopefully it will turn out a bit like my favourite Belgium tipple. :thumb:
