have reported evidence of fake gas bills sent to the public via email. They are made to look like an official communication from British Gas, informing the recipient that they owe money after failing to pay a previous bill.

I had one of them a week or 2 ago.

I phoned up British Gas, they basically said I hadn’t been a customer for however long and they had no idea what I was talking about lol.

They were quite understanding though, I imagine a few people have rung them.
