Can anyone tell me what the volume is in ml of the 1.5kg Briess Bavarian Wheat CBW?

well a kilo of water = a litre which is a density of 1:1 so if it was water it would be 1500ml

However best guess is that the density of LWE is about 1.4 so 1500/1.4 = 1071mls (ish.)

Please feel free to choose a more accurate answer. I chose a figure for corn syrup. I suppose your working out how full this would fill an fv or how much water you'd need to add :-)

If it's supplied in a round can like most lme there's negligible empty space usually so pi*radius squared*height=volume.

Sorry can't do proper maths notation on the phone but that might be easier than estimating the density of the liquid. Don't know if that info is readily available.

Agreed, but the weight on the can is accurate and reflects the weight of the contents. How full the can is filled can vary.

I suspect the two different ways to measure will not be that far out. what does the volume equation come to? - you're measuring the external diameters, so the inner dimensions of the can give you the best result. how thick is the metal used in a can? - I'm not being critical btw. just curious as to which of the methods give the most accurate answer? - Whichever that is that's the one i'd use :)
